Many employees or students may not present with any active symptoms (asymptomatic). Stream Covid Employer Services can test asymptomatic patients at the office or home.
On-site: The COVID-19 PCR test uses a self-collection nasal swab to detect the presence of the virus that causes COVID-19. Stream Covid Employer Services staff are on-site to assist with sample collection, sample preparation and sample shipments, with results available on average in 2-4 days.
Off-site: We offer a COVID-19 test at-home collection kit, which detects the presence of the virus
that causes COVID-19 via a self-administered nasal swab, and can be sent directly to employees at their home
with results available on average in 2-4 days upon receipt of sample. The at-home collection test kit has
received Emergency Use Authorization from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
For employees with active COVID-19 symptoms, they should contact their doctor or healthcare provider.
Antibody testing is for individuals who think they may have previously had COVID-19 and do not currently have symptoms. It can check for antibodies that may have developed after exposure to the virus that causes COVID-19. Note: antibody testing should not be used as the sole basis to diagnose or exclude infection.
On-site: The COVID-19 antibody test determines the presence of antibodies to SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, and helps identify individuals who may have been exposed to the virus. This test is available as a dried blood spot fingerstick test or as a blood draw, both of which can be performed conveniently at your facility, with results available on average in 2-4 days.
Off-site: The COVID-19 antibody test is a blood draw test, performed at a Stream Covid patient service center or convenient Stream Covid at Walgreens location. A phlebotomist at the facility will collect and prepare the sample, with results available on average in 2-4 days.
